  • Conceptualisation and management of the Heritage Funding Summit 2009. The summit was designed to uncover and examine World Heritage Funding Trends, while looking at appropriate solutions for developing heritage as a sustainable funding building block for socio-economic development in South Africa.
  • Litha Communications was invited by Fix Protocol Limited (FPL) based in London and New York to bid for the FPL Southern Africa Electronic Trading Conference. FPL has a member base comprising of almost 200 of the world’s leading banks, broker-dealers, exchanges, industry utilities and associations, institutional investors and Information Technology providers from around the world. The focus of the conference was addressing issues of importance to the global securities trading environment. The conference attracted 220 delegates from Europe, America’s Asia, Oceania and the Southern Africa region. The Conference was self funding through sponsorship and exhibitor revenue.
  • Planned, coordinated and managed the Old Mutual Retirement Reform Conference at Sandton Convention Centre. 350 stakeholders, policymakers, retirement industry leaders, civil society and interested parties from around the country all put their heads together in an effort to facilitate reform and effect positive change in the Social Security Sector.
  • Department of Environmental Affairs - Waste Management Officers Conference 2010. The purpose of the annual conference is to take stock of the achievements, challenges, opportunities and gaps in the implementation of the National Environment Management: Waste Act and related regulations as well as look at a programme of action to guide government through the following year. It is attended by the National Minister, MEC’s, Municipalities and designated Waste management officers (WMOs).
  • Conceptualised, planned, coordinated and managed a two day Provincial Conference on the National Heritage Liberation Route (NHLR) for the Nelson Mandela Museum – setting the Agenda for the Eastern Cape going forward for 350 delegates
  • Conference/Workshop – Launch of the Tourism Sector Skills plan. 400 delegates, stakeholder from Theta, NBI, DoL, DoE and the former DEAT
